History FAQ's Apply for Internship Contact Us

“I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to intern with Congressman Todd Platts and his wonderful staff this summer. Throughout my ten-week experience in both D.C. and the district, I was able to see, first-hand, the impact that the United States Congress has on our nation as well as the local 19th District constituents. The skills and opportunities I have had will certainly aid in all of my future endeavors, and I can not thank Congressman Platts, his staff, and the 19th District Internship Association enough for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”

-Ashton Traaen, Summer 2010 intern
