History FAQ's Apply for Internship

“Together, the 19th District Internship Association, Congressman Platts, and his staff have offered me the unique and gratifying opportunity to serve my district both at home and in our nation’s capital. Under their combined sources of guidance and encouragement, I participated in the passion and activism of a Congressional office that demonstrates an admirable commitment to its fellow neighbors, whether at home or in Washington, DC. As a 19th district intern I witnessed a level of dedication and service unparalleled to any other - which has inspired me to carry on that tradition of excellence in my future endeavors. I am honored to have been a part of what I consider to be the best available internship experience on the Hill.”

-Katherine  Williamson, Summer 2009 Intern
